Guest Speaker - Dr. David Graves was elected the 38th General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene in 2009. After serving for 14 years as a General Superintendent, he retired at the General Assembly in Indianapolis in July, 2023. Dr. Graves has pastored churches in Olathe, Kansas; Springdale, Ohio; Nashville, Tennessee; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Monroe, North Carolina. He was also the director of Sunday School Ministries from 2001-2006. Dr. Graves and his wife, Sharon, have four grown children: Michael, John, Stephen, and Rachel and 12, soon to be 13 grandchildren.

• National Day of Prayer - On Thursday, May 2, join us at 7:00am for this year's observance of the National Day of Prayer. This event brings together people, from around the city, and of all faiths to pray for our nation. Doors open at 6:30am. A continental breakfast will be served.

• Mother's Day Tea Party - Grab your fancy hat and make plans to attend the 2nd annual Mother's Day Tea Party on Saturday, May. 4, from 10am-noon. Kids and women of all ages are invited to attend. Cost is $10 per family. RSVP in the lobby on Sundays or go to crossingchurch.org/tea. Registration ends on May 1.

• All Church Meal - On Sunday, May 19, at 11:45am, make plans to stay after the church for an all-church meal featuring Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Potato Salad, Chips, Dessert and Drinks. The meal will be served in the gym. No rsvp is required, and it's free!

• Attention Graduates - If you are graduating this year from high school, trade school or college, we want to celebrate with you on Sunday, May 26 at 10:30 am followed by a lunch for all graduate families. If you plan to join in, please contact the church office by May 19.
