The Crossing Kids

Hi! Welcome to The Crossing Kids. Your child is an important player in the life of the Church. We believe that God speaks to all of us regardless of age. Here at The Crossing, your child will be welcomed, loved, and valued. These are key foundational stones to developing a relationship with Jesus that will forever change their life. So, come grow alongside others who want to see you and your family thrive and live a full life.

The Crossing Kids Purpose is the same as the rest of the church. To be an authentic, relevant, Bible-based ministry that welcomes everyone and desires to grow and serve together.

The Crossing Kids Vision is to be a ministry that reaches children for Christ by embracing and discipling them in the way of Jesus.

The Crossing Kids Core Values are Loving, Engaging, Cohesive, Energetic, and Welcoming.

The Why, What, and Who of The Crossing Kids

WHY

This is the most important of all. Our why is GOD and YOU. It is never too early to learn the foundations of a life with Jesus. In school, children learn their ABC’s and remember them for rest of their lives. What would it look like if your children learn that they are unconditionally loved by the Creator of the universe? It would look like a changed world.

WHAT

Weekend Services

At each Sunday morning service, we offer age appropriate classes for all children 5th grade and younger. On the weekend, our main focus is Bible-based Discipleship. We focus on 4 main spiritual disciples throughout the year and every week has 1 main point that is reinforced throughout the morning with a lesson, crafts, activities, and small groups.

With one central check-in station, it is easy to find all of our safe and fun classrooms.

Wednesday Evening

Crossing Kids Connect happens at The Crossing on Wednesdays between 6:30-7:45pm.

This is a time for all PreK-5th graders to engage with God’s Word in a fun and interactive way. With an emphasis on outreach, students will have a blast while learning what it takes to live a life devoted to Jesus.

All of our Ministry Partners have gone through an extensive application and background check, which means your child is under the care of safe and responsible adults.

How Check-in Works

Before Service: You can check-in your child at our main check in desk. After being greeted and checked in by a Crossing Kids team member, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

After Service: After the service, you will go to your child's classroom (if you're first time guest, we'll show you where this is before service), and show your tag to the teacher in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a quick text message. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
