Connecting your kids to Jesus
how check-in works
Before Service
Check your kids in at the blue wall toward the left as you enter the church. If you’re a first time guest, come a few minutes early and we’ll show you where your kids will be! You and your child will be given name tags with a corresponding code that are exclusive to your family for that visit.
DURING SERVICE
Your kid will wear the name tag while you hold on to the matching tag. If we need to contact you during the service, you’ll receive a quick text message. If you’re not sure where to go, look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
after service
After the service, bring your tag to give to your child’s teacher. The matching tag is what you’ll need for your child to be released to you. In the case we’re not done with kids church, please just wait patiently for the door to be opened to get your child.
Your child’s safety is important to us. Everyone who serves in Kids Ministry is background checked, and our goal is to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and cared for.
The Why, What, and Who of The Crossing Kids
MISSION
Our Kids Ministry is here to partner with families, provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can experience God’s love. We believe parents are the primary spiritual leaders in their households, and our goal is to walk alongside families to help children learn about Jesus, grow in their faith, be transformed by the Holy Spirit, and grow into Christlike disciples.
WHat WE DO
Sunday Classes
Each week after worship in “big church”, kids are invited to attend Kids Church where they’ll hear and explore a Bible story geared toward their developmental level. Through fun activities, prayer, and discussion with their peers, they’ll learn what that story tells us about God, and our relationship with Him.

Midweek Programs
Our Crossing Kids Midweek program provides a place for kids to build Christ-centered relationships, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and develop important skills like life application and praying for one another.
